Disney actress Selena Gomez is among famous faces starring in a video in support of the #WeAreSilent social media campaign, which marks the partnership between The Malala Fund and Free The Children.

The video, which also stars Orlando Bloom, Jennifer Hudson, Clive Owen and Seth Rogen, tells Malala Yousafzai's story in her words and promotes the right of all children, particularly girls, to an education. The campaign aims to encourage young people to stand up for those who are voiceless by posting pictures of themselves with their fingers over their lips in a 'shushing' motion on April 17. Yousafzai commented 'On April 17, I will be silent to support those around the world who are denied their rights, denied an education and denied a voice to speak out'.
